Our CDL (Class B) class prepares students to meet all class B driving licensure requirements and begin a successful and lucrative career in the truck driving industry. More than just a licensure program, we provide students with viable CDL truck driving job opportunities, to help facilitate the start of their career in commercial truck driving.

Course Outline: The CDL course consists of 45 hours of classroom and 30 hours of range and road driving instruction. It is expected that students will complete all of their required drive time and received CDL licensure in approximately 4 months.
CDL Class Dates and Times: We are currently taking reservations for our winter 2024-2025 CDL class-B truck driving class. In person class meetings, will occur on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-9:00 pm. Please call (207-242-8795) for more information.
CDL Drive Time: Drive time will occur M-F, 8am-5:00pm throughout the months of September-November. Individual student driving appointments will be arranged by instructors. All driving and classroom instruction will occur at our training facility located at 75 North Road in Readfield.
Class Registration Fee: If it is determined that you do not qualify for the free class, you are eligible to purchase the class for a fee of $4,750. To reserve a guaranteed spot in the fall class, you must submit a check or cash payment payable to Maranacook Adult Education and submitted to: 2250 Millard Harrison Dr., Readfield, ME 04355.
Refund and Cancellation Policy: Students will be allowed to receive a full refund, if they withdraw no less than one month before the planned first CDL class date. After one month, payment will be forfeit.
