Registered Maine Guide Training
with Alice Bean Andrenyak
Train to become a working Registered Maine Guide, not just a test taker. Learn the skills that guides use daily including: map & compass, coastal navigation, shelter building, separated client searches, cooking, canoeing, snowshoeing, SUP’ng, plus specialty skills for sea kayaking, fishing, and hunting.
This hybrid program includes Zoom, all day workshops, and homework assignments. Students need access to a computer/tablet with audio and video capabilities, a printer, and a 2 degree base plate compass at the minimum. Depending on what specialty the student wants to become as a Registered Maine Guide, they may need more. A complete list will be provided directly to the students.

From your Instructor:
I am a Master Maine Guide who has been guiding for over 40 years, running my own full year guiding business (Alice's Awesome Adventures), former Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Guides Board Examiner, and 1:1 trainer. Many current Registered Maine Guides trained with me. I have been a teacher in public education, adult education, online education, and for non-profit organizations since 1968.
